-Ironically intended for short term usage they ended up being historical pieces.
-These influenced the pop art movement as well as artists such as Andy Warhol
-1891he was commissioned to create a poster for the moulin rouge and captured the venue star cancan dancer ‘La Goulue’
-In the piece you can see Toulouse uses composition, with the star placed centre surrounded by unprinted paper to create a spotlight effect.
