Jacqueline Bisett is a British fashion illustrator with a loose unique style and long list of luxury clients. Her work includes bold black strokes combined with watercolour to create movement and texture within the illustration to show off the garment she is capturing. She takes inspiration from everyday life and takes photos everywhere for reference for a later date. As well as her watercolour she also explores the idea of collage using Letrafilm to transfer blocks of colours. These blocks of colours are layered in different shapes and sizes before being finalised with Pantone pens to add detail and dimension to the piece.
Bisett has a different style to the other contemporary illustrators I have researched during my 101 marks project. The project includes exploring the idea of mark making and therefore suits the idea behind the experimentation of this project. I like her use of mix media as it creates a fun style which really communicates the ideas behind the project.
